I finally replaced the Mazda. Being my daily driver, I needed something reliable and efficient, and being a drummer, I needed something that fit drums. Then this popped up on Craigslist

1988 Chevrolet Corvette Z52

It is the least practical car I could have purchased, and I’m loving every second of it.
